Who We Are

At Haven Financial Services, we have built a culture that walks the walk on respecting work life balance. When the company was built in 2014, the idea was to get away from the corporate mentality of the eight to five grind. Rather we understood that high value service can be provided in a fluid form which aligns with the creative owners we work with. 

We have learned to build systems that allow us to stay lean and focused and intend to keep it that way. We have a team that completely supports each other, enjoys collaboration, and kicks butt during our team games each month. 

The idea was to build a company with people that deliver good work and are also awesome human beings to work with. The outcome can’t be beat.

Our Team

Khristine Valdez

Founder & CEO

Khristine launched Haven Financial Services as she saw a need for Executive and Management accounting services from the local companies in Orange County and built a company that focuses on a high quality of financial service. Previously, Khristine was a CFO for Sail Venture Partners, Teles Properties and the McMonigle Group. Khristine was also a CPA providing tax and audit services, primarily in the Real Estate and Non-Profit Industries. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Cal State Fullerton, and obtained her CPA license in Wisconsin. In her free time she enjoys movies with her family, golf, tennis and music.

Amy Perez

Director of Operations

Amy graduated from Webster University with a Bachelor’s Degree, and a minor in Marketing. Prior to joining the Haven team, she held positions at Epson America, Inc. and Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A. Headquarters, in the Marketing Department. In her free time, she enjoys hiking and camping with her husband and two sons. She also likes to swim, bike and run.

Sabrina Quarles

Client Relations

Sabrina Quarles earned both her Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communications and her Master of Business Administration in Finance from Delaware State University. Before joining the Haven team, Sabrina gained valuable experience at Apollo Global Management and UBS, where she held roles in Investor Relations and Business Development. Outside of work, she enjoys staying active with Pilates, immersing herself in a good book, and spending quality time with her dog, family, and friends.

Mary Ann Arcenal

Controller

Mary Ann Arcenal is a seasoned accountant with over 14 years of experience in accounting, finance, and property management. She has excelled in roles such as Accounting Manager at Stapleton Group and Assistant Manager at PA Alvarez Properties & Development Inc., where she managed financial operations and demonstrated expertise in loan processing, accounting, and financial analysis.
Mary Ann holds a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from AMA Computer College and has completed 18 units toward a Master’s in Business Administration. Proficient in accounting software like QuickBooks and Yardi, she is known for her systematic approach, strong work ethic, and ability to thrive under pressure. Her attention to detail and commitment to accuracy make her a valuable asset in any financial environment.

Cadeleine Hilario

Senior Accountant

Cadeleine is a Certified Public Accountant who graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy, cum laude, from Angeles University Foundation. She has extensive experience in tax compliance and advisory, and financial accounting and reporting through her previous roles as Senior Accountant at SGV & Co. (EY Philippines) and Connext International Inc. under Freestone Property Group. In her free time, she enjoys yoga, indulging in a good read, and spending time with her loved ones and two chihuahuas.

Sanjana Kothari

Senior Accountant

Sanjana is an experienced Chartered Accountant with five years of extensive work across various sectors, including real estate, e-commerce, and construction. Her previous roles as Virtual CFO, Assistant Controller, and Accounting Manager have sharpened her abilities in financial analysis, bookkeeping, and comprehensive financial management. Skilled in software like NetSuite, QuickBooks, Xero, and Odoo, she excels in tasks ranging from payroll to complex financial reconciliations. In her free time, she enjoys drawing, traveling, and exploring new places.

Regine Velado

Senior Accountant

Regine is a graduate of Accountancy from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, and a Certified Public Accountant. With seven years of experience across diverse industries, Regine developed expertise in financial reporting, analysis, and general accounting. Regine’s previous roles as an Accounting Assistant, Accounting Supervisor, and Senior Accountant have further deepened her skills and ability to work under pressure. Outside of work, Regine enjoys anime, K-pop, K-drama, C-drama, and spending time with her pets.

Senior Accountant

Analiza is a seasoned Accountant with over nine years of expertise across various industries. Her diverse roles as an Accounting Supervisor, Senior Accountant, Cost Accountant, and General Accountant have honed her skills in financial analysis, bookkeeping, and financial management. Proficient in tasks ranging from payroll calculations, to detailed financial reconciliations, she excels in maintaining accuracy and compliance in all financial processes. In her free time, Analiza enjoys traveling, watching anime, and learning photography.

Jill Reyes

Staff Accountant

Jill has over 10 years of experience in accounting and bookkeeping and has managed full-cycle accounting for multiple clients, including U.S.-based real estate and service businesses. Outside of work, Jill is a Youth Advocate who leads a youth group organization that supports local communities through outreach programs and tutorials for children. She also enjoys exploring coffee shops, traveling, and spending quality time with her family and friends.

Janella Delos Santos

Junior Accountant

Janella Delos Santos brings over 8 years of solid experience in Accounts Payable, making her a seasoned professional in financial operations. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from San Pedro College of Business Administration. Her extensive background has sharpened her attention to detail, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of documents. Janella’s dedication and strong work ethic have consistently made her a valuable asset to every team she has been part of.  Outside of work, Janella enjoys arranging various flower bouquets, expressing her creativity through floral design. She also values quality time with her family and friends, which helps her maintain a well-balanced and fulfilling life.

Vanesa Gaviola

Staff Accountant

Vanesa is originally from the Philippines and graduated from Polytechnic University of the Philippines with a degree in Accountancy. After graduating she joined an Accounting and Auditing Firm for more than 6 years, where she was able to handle PEZA companies. She passed the Civil Service Examination and obtained the Certified Tax Technician, QuickBooks Pro-Advisor and Xero Advisor Certification. Also, she previously worked as a Senior Associate in a BPO and outsourcing company where she was able to work with international clients. In her free time, she enjoys watching movies and series with family, reading books, drawing, and singing.

Rachel

Rachel Erin Flores

Staff Accountant

Erin graduated from Tomas Del Rosario College with a Bachelor’s degree in accounting. After graduating, she obtained her CPA license in the Philippines. She held a contractual position in a government agency to aid ITs from Technecrest team in implementing a software to be primarily used by the agency in their end-to-end accounting process. Prior to joining the Haven team, she worked as a Senior CPA in a BPO company where she provided outsourced accounting services to SMEs and handled multiple accounts for-profit and nonprofit entities. In her free time, she enjoys family bonding, playing with her pets and outdoor activities.
